Extracurriculars

When students become involved in extracurricular activities, they create meaningful friendships, they develop teamwork skill, and they gain wider experience and a better understanding of the world around them. White Oak provides a variety of sports, outdoor adventures, special interest clubs, class trips and community service opportunities to help students stretch their wings.

Field Trip and Community Trip Examples:

Springfield Thunderbirds Games, Connecticut Science Center, Springfield Museums, Westfield Starfires Games, trips to The Bushnell and Boston theaters, college and professional sporting events, trips to explore career avenues

Community Service Participation:

Drives for local animal shelters, the Common Goods Pantry on the WSU campus, and Toys For Tots; participation in the Hot Chocolate Run for Safe Passages, the American Heart Challenge, and area walks for a variety of important charity organizations.

Special Interest Clubs include:
