White Oak Overview
White Oak’s students are creative, capable, insightful and thoughtful. They’re great problem-solvers. They’re funny, they’re athletic, they’re artistic and they’ve got great ideas. What they don’t have such an easy time with is turning those great ideas into written form… into notes and outlines, and eventually into academic papers, lab reports and research reports. Math and spelling and reading are challenging to many students, as well.
All of these skills are addressed at White Oak, and they’re addressed in a way that lets students see that they really can be successful academically, and that they have a promising future. Our teachers take the time to ensure that students don’t simply understand new skills, but are able to actually demonstrate those skills in the classroom.
